Would you like to make a little wager on the Mich Vs. OSU game this year?

I'm not thinking any money or anything, but maybe something like we have to make our avatar a OSU/Mich thing, or maybe you have to write a poem or sing the fight song. I don't know, just something. you in?

And yeah, I knew that was gonna happen. Bama is way to strong for us or any other big 10 team. It would have happened to any big 10 team that played them that day.

Bama loses two games this year. They are a great team, but I wasn't convinced. Michigan just is not that good TBQH. I will break it down if anyone is interested. USC is the class this season.

Buckeyes have way more playmakers than the Wolverines, man. You really have one weapon and that is Robinson.

Braxton Miller > Denard Robinson ( as a total QB )

Carlos Hyde > Fitz Tousaint

Devin Smith and Philly Brown > Roundtree and Garnder

And I disagree about tOSU getting drilled. They would have given Bama a game. I dont think they would have won, but our talent is as good as anyones. I follow recruiting heavily so I know a thing or two about this.

Michigan just got exposed. Bama wasnt as good as they looked. Michigan is a 5 loss team this year IMO. Robinson cant throw, and cant read a defense to save his life. He had open WR's all game long but just couldn't hit them. Great athlete, sub par QB IMO.

And about the bet, sure that sounds just fine.

Just Michigan is still behind the power teams when it comes to talent, and are still feeling the Rich Rod era.

Give Hoke a few years and he will have the players he needs. He is recruiting well.

He may be better this year but we will wait and see about that. The kid has talent but he didn't do much last year.

Its because denard isn't a QB he is just an athlete who happens to throw the ball sometimes, I'm not really a big fan tbh

and like I said Miller has some game, but we will see how he develops. He definetly can be a really good QB

Yea my comment was more how I feel Miller will develop over the course of the season under Meyer, and by the Michigan game he is going to be a totally different player.

Anyways.....

I got Air Force giving the Maize and Blue a tough game this weekend. AFA runs the triple option, which is very tough to prepare for in one weeks time.

Michigan will win, but the game will be much closer than the 22 point line. Bama beat the up last week, plus Michigan lost its starting CB Countess for the season ( already a weakness for them ).

I wonder how Mills feels about the Sooner's sub par performance last weekend.?

AFA is ALWAYS dangerous just because it often comes down to 1 defender v 1 offensive player, and if the offense wins, thats a potential TD.

The triple option always worries me. AFA has upset plenty of good teams in the past. So yeah, I agree with you, AFA worries me just a bit.

The one B1G team that needs to be on upset watch Saturday is Wisconsin. They are playing Oregon State, and the Badgers just looked abysmal last week. I see this game being very close, and maybe even an upset. Keep an eye on that one too.

Losing Countess (my starting CB) is really gonna hurt us. I just don't have any playmakers on the defensive side of the ball. Kovach and Ryan (I think) played ok out of the safety spots, but I aint got shit otherwise.

How about UCLA looking pretty solid? I liked the bruins since I was young cause I liked their uniforms when I was 6.

So many upsets too. I'm so thrilled to have CFB back again!

But yea Michigan is still 2 years away IMO. Hoke is a good coach, they just dont have the talent yet.

But its coming, they have been recruiting very well since Hoke got there.

College football as a whole looks really down this year. Outside of Bama/LSU, I don't see anyone else that looks dominating. The B1G is bad but I expected that with all the coaching turnover. SEC doesn't look all that daunting outside of Bama/LSU. Georgia looked ok. Tennessee doesn't have a running game. Florida toughed it out. Auburn is 0-2. Arkansas got beat by ULM. A&M/Mizzou looked like pretenders.

- Michigan......Mattison's defense is gonna have a tough year. I'm not sure their LB's would start anywhere else in the B1G. Defensively line didn't look all that great. Toussaint looked bad carrying for a whopping 7 yards. Skill positions just look really average. I did like Funchess's play.

- USC......They looked pretty beatable yesterday. I don't think their O-Line is NC quality, IMO. Defense didn't look all that great either. If the Syracuse QB would settled down a little bit he could have hit some big throws.

- Auburn......Chizik may very well be on the hotseat. They've looked bad thus far. I wonder what his rationale was for switching to a pro-style offense when you've recruited for the spread the last 3-4 years. Scot Loeffler's debut as a OC at a big school hasn't been great. Auburn fans are pulling their hair out at his play calling.

- Washington......I think Sarkisian is done at UW after this season unless he can pull out some big wins. The Huskies looked like a pop warner team going against the '76 Raiders.

- Pitt......Chryst looks pretty overmatched out there and he's only played YSU and Cincy so far. Truth be told, Wannstedt didn't leave much talent on that team. O-Line looks bad. Sunseri looks average. Defense looks overmatched.

- ND.....I thought they looked average today. That suspect secondary will cost them some games.

But in 2 years Urban Meyer will be 3 years into his stint at OSU

They are terrible, it was just a matter of time before they lost to a mediocre team.

The big 10 as a whole looked bad really. Nebraska lost, mich wasn't impressive, PSU is 0-2, Iowa lost, and Illinois lost.

Other than you guys and MSU the B1G looked terrible

It has never really been a great conference from top to bottom but this is the worst it has ever been.

I kinda expected it this year with all the new coaches. Its scary though, I follow recruiting very closely, and only Michigan and Ohio State are pulling their weight anymore. The talent level is getting worse overall.

I predict the next 5-6 years the conference is going to be tOSU and Michigans whipping boys.
