This is disgusting, as much as I don't agree that he should have used violence to solve the issue, they completely omitted the fact that she was instigating the entire confrontation. She acts like she's innocent when she clearly is not. I like the fact how they cry bloody murder over the fact that he hit a woman, while I don't condone hitting women either, but people need to understand that if you keep pressing those buttons, you're going to find someone who' not going to take it anymore. Man or woman, they'll lay you out, just like in this video.

Pretty much this.

The problem with people now is they think they can say whatever and do whatever, woman or not she hit him first and not all women are stick figures they can fight and pack a punch.

I kinda can't blame him but i wouldn't have even continuted the arguement anyways.

I think there's a difference in beating up your gf,etc. than from defending yourself from a crazy hoe like that........I think it's funny as hell they always try to play the victim. Both parties are wrong, though it's quite obvious the wench was asking for a beat down. Sadly sometimes it takes a good ass kicking for something to sink in. Hopefully she'll have learned her lesson to a degree that sometimes you just can't go acting like a hood rat and pushing people around, or like in this case, they'll push back.

I too would have liked to know the whole story, it takes two to tango, and it's pretty clear that "reasoning" and "talking it out" was completely out the window at that point.

A little sidenote on the whole women's equality argument. In america, there was an attempt to pass an amendment to the constitution that guarantees that men and women are treated the same in the eyes of the law. In the end, women voted overwhelmingly against the amendment, since maternity leave, special medical privileges under welfare and other amenities would be taken away.


Moral of the story, women wanted equality only so long as it guaranteed them special privileges.

I think it, like many other situations like this, is a gray area. He didn't need to hit her that hard, but she hit him first and was harassing him on top of that.


Him losing his job is bullshit. It just gives more incentive for scumbags like her to treat people like shit knowing that they can just get away with it.

In anything besides self defense i mean, and in the defense of those who can't defend themselves.

I am sure it'd be really hard to hit a woman and i am sure i'd feel bad about it but if i was in the same situation as the bus driver.. I am not 100% sure what i'd do.

Kinda related but there was recently a cop of 19 years up here who hit a woman who he thought threw a water bottle at him during a parade. Guy got fired and lost everything.

I think it was out of line for sure but the guy was pretty high ranking and apparently had no problems prior to that. I don't think he should've been fired and i don't think the bus driver should've been fired, both of those jobs have to put up with a lot of crap, i am sure the cop more so.

yeah I saw that vid the other day of that philly cop hitting the woman, fucked up thing is, she wasn't even the one who threw the water bottle if you watch closely.

Bottom line is, you don't hit a woman without reason. Did this situation require violence? Certainly not. Was she being a wench and probably deserved what she got and more? most certainly.

I don't condone hitting women, I probably would never let myself get so angry to where I'd snap and do something like this (Been there done that with punks before, all of them male though). Should he have been fired? I don't think so, suspended at worse, and the news should have showed the entire thing, I pretty damn sure the "Outrage" and such would change dramatically if the public saw how she was acting.

Meh, I've dealt with many women who are just as violent and strong as men. So I have reservations when it comes to this kind of stuff. But then again, I did have a few shots of jack tonight, so if I'm saying stuff that is kind of screwed up, please pardon me. I'm feeling a little good right now.
