i feel like it should be watched AND played while drunk. I would enjoy it more if the players were drunk as well I think.

And it's really more of the NCAA jumping out of video games than it is EA abandoning NCAA Football. See below...the gist of the article is that because of the Ed O'Bannon lawsuit against the NCAA for using his likeness in past NCAA basketball games the NCAA is dropping out of the videogame business. So any NCAA game made right now would probably have to be where EA/2k or whoever wants to make it would have to sign a contract with each university or use generic university names based on just the city or state.

Update about the whole EA/NCAA agreement...basically EA has extended their contract with CLC for 3 years, just not with the NCAA so it won't have the NCAA name/logos, but would still have all the schools, stadiums, etc...

I'll probably watch some of the OSU game today, until it gets out of hand. Gonna be busy this afternoon so I'm recording the Bama game and gonna try to watch what I can of it too. Did you happen to catch any of the Ole Miss/Vandy game or the Fresno State/Rutgers game? Both had crazy last few minutes, but all 4 teams defenses looked really bad.

Ugh, ugly week. I hate it when Mich is in or around the top 10, especially when we aren't that good. At best we are around the 25th best team in the country on a good day.

Our defense definitely took the week off. IMO(and I am a little bias) the referees were horrible in our game...I think they kept at least 2 of A&M's drives alive with bad calls or no calls on obvious holding/blocks in the back. Also our 2nd best corner(Geno Smith) is still in the doghouse after his offseason DUI so he didn't get much playtime(only on special teams that I know of) and our best one(Deion Belue) getting injured really hurt us. I'll give props to Manziel for his play, but it makes it a lot easier for him when he has a 6'5" WR that he can just constantly lob it up to...Evans killed us as much if not more than Manziel.

Yeah that was one of the worst fuck ups in officiating I've seen in a football game in some time. How could they just let the clock run? Who thought that was OK?

Not only that the Arizona State guy was laying on the ball for 6 seconds while the clock ran

Thats what I mean, how could the refs just let the clock run while Ariz St. just layed on the ball?

It would sure make closing out games a lot easier if you could just take the ball from the offense and hang out with it for a few seconds after every play.
