Mortal Kombat question

I havent played this game for awhile. After beating the challenge tower I had to put the game down as my blood pressure was going to kill me. But now that all the DLC characters are out, Im going to start playing again. Not to mention they finally patched the PS3 netcode so its playable now! But how are the new characters? especially Freddie? Does he fit?

I'm getting it just for Freddy. I hope they release more horror movie characters. So many options.

Bring in Jason, Michael Myers and Leatherface.

Skarlet - Tough combos and weird playstyle. Rushdown style, but not my cup of tea.

Kenshi - Cool character but, once again, strange playstyle. Great for zoning if you can get his moves down.

Rain - Too combo heavy for my tastes, but cool design anyway.

Freddy - Is great if you keep him on the ground. Serious weak air game as well as weak wake up attacks options. Can start combos high, low and overhead and has great 50/50's. As for fitting, I'm usually against tie-ins, but I love horror movies, MK and weed. So I get to play as Freddy in MK while high.

What's not to like?

yup makes your heart explode in game as well as out of the game

Finally got to play with Freddie yesterday. I am thinking of maining him.

But then I went online and started spamming Johnny Cage's nut punch in every match I played. Seriously, just spammed the nut punch and only the nut punch. Then after every round sent a message calling the guy I just fought a spamming douchebag.
