Over here in Cali we had a writer for the LA Times(one of the largest papers out here)who wrote a whole article about how Easterners are(in my words)pussies, bigots and cowards.

If I can find the article I will post it here, but damn that bastard from that paper pisses me off.

Like two weeks ago he/she(has a mans name, looks like a woman)wrote an article on how he/she felt sorry for homeless people because their house was being fumigated and they had to stay in a 5 star hotel for 2 weeks, and because of those two weeks she/he now knows what its like to be homeless.

That person pisses me off.

we actually got lucky here, no major flooding except where lakes and rivers are. We are under a flood watch till morning because high tide is over night

Yeah, I didn't get hit that hard by the storm here. I think I did more damage to myself than what the hurricane did to my area. Nothing like playing slip-n-slide and falling onto a tree root. Then it doesn't help to go tubing down a flooding creek. Probably wasn't a good idea to do all this while drunk either. Otherwise, it was another fun Pineapple loving night!

I was gonna say the same thing. Seriously, every local news channel wouldn't shut the fuck up about the damn thing. Not only that, but the gas stations had at LEAST an hour wait for gas and most grocery stores were practically bought out.

@kalei: Dude, awesome!! At least you had fun, I was huddled in our living room with the family trying to ease the fears of a tornado nearby. The wife got worried when they called a tornado warning. Then again we where a bit closer to the storm center.


On a side note: This why I love SeC, we have nothing in common outside of this place.

Silly people living on coasts, the Midwest is where its at. We dont worry about hurricanes, and if you're far enough north, tornadoes become a non issue as well.
