Well. finally got my license today.

I passed with 15 mistakes made out of an allowed 15.

LIKE A BAWSS.

Why did you wait until you were 18?

urgh,made me mad.They just made it "law" like last year.Just another quick cash in they made,I guess cuz of drunk drivers.Not like it's gonna stop anybody.

I dunno how many you can mess up on the test here,but I think you pass with a 70%

my mom said it was real easy,just to make sure to completely stop at the stop signs

Ah. I forgot that drivers ed isn't just a class you take in highschool anymore.

No, Drivers Ed is what allows you to take the test for your permit if your under 18. The actual Driving test gets you your license. And thats what I got today.

Wait, so drivers ed doesn't allow you to get your license when you turn 18?

I remember going in and getting my license on my 16th birthday. Also took the motorcycle endorsement test the same day.

yeah that seems like alot...up here if you make one mistake you're pretty much boned. rolling stop? fail! go even 1 km/h over the limit? fail! don't use your blinker? fail! go when someone stops and waives you ahead and they have the right of way? fail! can't parallel park in three attemps? fail! stop over the stop line or a crosswalk? fail!

you pretty much have to drive perfectly during your road test.

That's how I remember it being. 1 mistake and you're out.

Most of my mistakes were bull though. She marked me 3 times for not keeping enough space between the vehicle. Thing is, we took my test in a small ass town. NO OTHER FUCKING CAR WAS AHEAD OF ME THE WHOLE TIME.

Marked me several times for SPEEDING. Even though she had me go thru residential areas and school zones so I never went faster then 25.

Then marked me for pulling into the wrong parking lot after telling me to "Turn left into the DMV parking lot on the NEXT left." So I did, I pulled into the parking lot after the one she told me to, and she tells me no sorry, my fault next one over. Then marks me for it.

My father doesn't allow anyone in the family to get our license untill we are 18. Though i am 19 and took it once earlier this month and failed..,, Next month though.. It's going to be one week before my 20th birthday. If i am 20 before i have my license i am gonna punch myself in the face.

Not good enough, you should have stopped and surveyed five miles ahead of you to make sure there were no cars ahead before you started driving.

Not good enough, you should have stopped and surveyed five miles ahead of you to make sure there were no cars ahead before you started driving.

I am gonna bring a pair of binoculars and get out of the car and scout the area for a few minutes next time to show them how dedicated to safety i am.
