CoD thread

Does anyone else here play? I know BumFlash has told me he hates it, but anyone else here like it? I've kinda gone back to CoD, since I can't stand how slow BF3 feels. The frequency of getting into a good, fast-paced game is almost nothing to me, and I truly love the twitch shooting in CoD. I like how it has improved my reflexes too. That and really, I usually don't give a fuck about my team. I just grab my sniper rifle, find a high spot and party. Or I'll run in with a rifle and shoot at anything that moves.


Oh and slightly separate, survival mode rocks! I loves it!

Survival is fun. Multiplayer is shit.

i don't like it, but if you want to just go in shoot shit then go then it's great but not worth it i don't think

im ok with it but im just not into many war games unless i have some kind of equal chance of winning as opposed to CoD franchise, Space marines, bf3 match with nothing but recon fools, you know the shit stuff

Nope, CoD is a crap-tacular filled series in my eyes and nothing short of them adding in Ponys will change it.

I couldnt agree more.
WaW was probably my favorite. It felt solid, with nothing too crazy. MW was, and is still, a good game. MW2 was terrible, and from there on it was inevitable that the franchise would suck forevermore.

Would you believe it, I've only twice actually run across someone using a Type 95. Thats in about 12-16 hours of online play too.

Irony: W@W is hacked to shit, you literally cannot play a gmae without one spammer/hacker/modder. MW is still fun sometimes, just for the scoping. And MW2 is still one of the most popular games on XBL.

Yeah, its ridiculous now. But When it first released, and the next year or two it was a great game.

most CoD game's before Bop's is hacked by quite a few people

Been thinking of checking this game out yet. Not going to play the multi player, but would do the Spec Ops or whatever they're calling it now.

my bro has MW3,which do you have dude?He also has every COD ever besides BO which he traded for Gears 3 >__>

It would be a nice change of pace from BF for a little while.Maybe I could get good at it and dominate a match even with idiot team mates unlike BF3 >__<

I have to admit, this is the one thing that irks me about BF. No matter how good I can be in a lobby, there are still 11 other dolts who will bring the whole game crashing down
But at least its not 11 other 7 year old hermaphrodites screaming in the mic.

All of em, except for W@W (Higu still has it). If you wanna play, I'm almost always on on the weekends.

Two things: 1) I almost never play for my team unless its like IRL friends.
2) Thats the function of a mute button friend.

i remember the first thing i did after joining a MW2 lobby was to mute evreyone

I still do if I have to use game chat. Mostly I just get a party of friends, we hop on a demo/dom game and trash randoms.

I heard infection is really fun,but never played it...and don't even know what it's about XD

that survival mode thingy seemed cool tho

MW3 is going to have a f2p weekend on steam so I will be playing that.

i might give it a go if it's free

you know in mw2 if you mute someone never take it off and see them like two weeks later they will still be muted

I don't hate CoD games. But I never really enjoyed them. Of course the only one I've played was MW2, and I did well, but I still didn't enjoy myself. It just doesn't have that epic battle feel BF has for me. Plus being FORCED to go down hallways and predetermined paths drives me crazy, especially with how quick you die. Makes the game a camper heaven.

If I ever have $60 to burn on something frivolous then maybe I will. But BF3 is enough shooter for me at the moment, and now I'm looking at getting ME3 too. Maybe I will check the pawn shops round town to see if I can find a copy on the cheap.

The mute thing happens in Reach all the time too. I ran into two people yesterday that I had previously muted. I even remembered one of them

Neither MW3 or BlOps has an online pass.

And I meant if you wanted to play MW2, we'd be game. Since thats still super popular. But...MW3 is free on Steam for the weekend, why not try that?

I just get really bored of the MP because it's so connection-based it's not even funny.

It is. I swear there is more host advantage in CoD then in Gears for crying out loud.

I had 400 hours in Mw2 (until i discovered bc2). Mw3 is just not different enough to keep my interest.
