Anybody else ever experience this?Like part of me wants to finish the games I have, but I just feel so burned out on gaming at times, and it winds up making me more depressed knowing I bought the games for nothing >__> .Like,I haven't even touched AC:Revelations,GTA 4 Complete edition,MGS HD collection,Two Worlds 2,DA2,or Two Worlds 2....got burned out and overwhelmed at 60 hours into DA:Origins Ultimate Edition Evil or Very Mad

to top that off I need a new controller soon and that pisses me off,the left analog stick is all worn out

When I burn out on gaming I just go do other stuff.

Watch movies, read books, go put a bunch of holes into steel plates or paper at the range.

I've experienced the whole burning out on gaming many times. After a few weeks if not a few months I finally get the urge to play again. I went 6 months without playing any video games due to basic training and tech school, I thought I'd be gaming my butt off when I came back home, surprisingly I'm not doing it as heavily as I had anticipated. There's just so many other things to do that can help keep me occupied (Like texting and talking to a cute girl I met in tech school Razz )

If you are burned out of playing video games do not play for a while. It is not like the games will expire if you do not play them. There will always be there for you to play.

yeah I guess it's a mix between trying not to be burned out,and feeling very overwhelmed.I might start the last 2 DLCs for NV...Lonesome Road and Dead Money.I have the 1st Fallout but,I can't stand that kinda birds eye old school view with 2d everything lol

http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3_Numbers_Station there's a cool story XD

I suffer some sort burnout of some sort with all of m y recreational activities at somepoint. Just have to mix it up really. Move on to something else for awhile like most folk said. Hell I just finished AC Brotherhood. I got maybe 80% of it done and then just got burntout on the game. Then a few weeks ago I started playing it again and was having a blast.

Whenever I get bored playing games I just play with myself! We always have the bestest of times.

I read a lot over the week instead of playing, it helps to keep it fresh. Otherwise, switch up your genres. If you've been playing shhoters for a week, switch to a platformer or puzzle maybe.
