Minecraft has to be the best game I've ever played

What other game can you make your way through creepy underground caverns, see a creepy green face looking at you around a corner in the darkness, before sealing off the tunnel, and posting a sign that says "Warning! Explosive Penis Ahead!"

I love it, you should buy it Kitsune and play with me when I get it and we can do exploring together and fight off the penis horde.

It looks interesting. If it released on Live Arcade or something I'd get it, but I won't play a game on PC for any reason under the sun.

I play chess on the pc when I am supposed to be writing a paper but thats about it. After sitting in front of this beast all day I don;t like sitting in front of a PC at home.

I definitely have to buy this game whenever possible.

i just got it and its pretty awesome.


where do the save files go though?

i thought it was server side but after restarting to try it on windows instead of linux i noticed mine was gone. and now i have an awesome series of pathways going on in my new world.

also why the hell does this run slow on my computer

I'm not sure where the files go, but it runs slow on your computer because it is generating the world.

what i don't get about that is that elders scrolls 2 used auto-generated landscapes and had a map as big as england and can run on ancient computers.

The map in this game is infinite.

It's in your temp internet files. Which means, It auto generates from the internet. The files for maps are made from the site or something because you see folder "temp" and www.minecraft.whatevve43

yeah until you dig through the bottom of the earth and fall out and die. i made the mistake of doing that it kind of sucked because i lost all my stuff.


this game is addictive as hell though. i dug myself into some huge cavern which i found a bunch of lava and stuff to mine. missed some diamonds though because i think the gold pickaxe is glitched(nothing comes out when you destroy stuff with it).

i think i'm just gonna see how big of a minecart track i can make, but it seems like iron is getting harder to find without me getting lost in my cave.

I keep hearing nothing but good things about that game, maybe I should check it out.
