Your in the English army and you have just massacred a Scottish village all the adults are dead

You hear crying from a hut and theres a little boy inside

i wouldn't want to drag a child through a war. if i died in battle then how would the other men treat him? i reckon it would be best for him to stay within his own society, albeit as an orphan.

plus he might grow up to be a medieval Batman, which would be BA.

Well if i get to kill the child myself i can make the death as painless as possible. He wouldn't be able to survive without anyone anyways and would just suffer if not.

If i were to take in the enemies child i'd probably be punished/hunted for doing so and then the child would probably be killed by them.

I welcome it. That'd be just...so cool. Knowing you have a nemesis bent on killing you, who has devoted their entire life to your death. That'd be pretty badass.
