DayZ Hunger Games

So here is the idea:

-All players need a fresh spawn
-Depending on where people spawn we will do this in Elektro or Cherno
-The group will all start in the same area and will be restricted to staying withing the city limits
-Point of the game is to be last one standing
-Alliances are ok but remember, Last one standing
-There will be only in game comms used (no Vent)

A few of my friends and I will be doing this tonight around 12am and this will probably be a regular event

PVP in this game makes me rage since i always get killed by teleporting, speed glitching, aim botting hackers

We plan to play this on an empty server to avoid those frustrations

I may be down for this ...but that means I need to kill my chracter...who after 1 hour of scavagning around the place thats a church.....found a shotgun and ammo.....damn

i was killed behind cover... so on top of the aim bot and whatever else he used he had no clip on also

The asshole hid the bodies too. When i went back i heard the flies but no bodies. I thought for sure i was going to make it, almost made it across the tracks.

i though the same thing but it was hacks

even if we did get away we would have probably been teleported and killed

i'm all about the empty servers and i hope when this goes stand alone i will be able to get a private server

There's like... no weapons in the cities.

You're going to have a bunch of people with double barrel slugs and 1911s and one guy is going to have an Enfield and prone on a building, aggro all the zombies and basically kill everyone in one hit.

there are many guns in the city

cherno has 3 military spawns

why not make it a different area every week?
spice it up a bit

played hunger games style last night with 4 others

went really well i think and everyone else was saying it was amazing and when are we doing it next

shout out to camel who was the last survivor standing.

we will probably be doing this again later tonight

I woke up just as you guys where finishing...made me sad

after hunger games me and camel went and raided cherno

we ended up with full alice packs, camel has an AKM and I have an AK-74

i found a ghilie suit in a residential spawn... WOOT

so yeah you can find good stuff in the cities... much better than the coastal airfield

I really wish I could play this. Im really tempted to buy the Steam version to see if it makes a difference......

for me the difference between regular arma 2 op arrowhead and the steam version was huge
i went from not being able to aim at a target to not being able to fly a helicopter

Im talking about Day Z man.

I have the non steam version of ARMA 2 and I think that it causing the issue.

how far off do you think the standalone Day z will be

it's going to be the same game

being made by the guy who made the current mod if i'm not mistaken

my hope with the stand alone is that i will be able to run a private server
