Anyone wish that the SCAR-H was an assault class weapon?

Perhaps have the SCAR-L as an engineer weapon? It would have been nice to have another big bore battle rifle for the assault class other than just the G3.

Honestly, if they would give us the FAL I wouldn't care what they did.

But yes it would be nice.

There are alot of people clamoring for it. Hopefully one of the last XP packs has it.

Yeah, hopefully, we'll have to wait and see. At least one new big bore rifle would be nice, it gets boring having only 5.56 caliber rifles to pick from.

I never really understood why it was an engineer weapon in the first place...makes alot more sense to have the H as assault. And then when they released the L I figured it would also be an engy weapon since it's a lighter caliber...and turns out it was an assault weapon and I was like

Scar-h seems to suck massively whenever I use it. On PC at least

The SCAR-H sucks on every version of BF3. It has no purpose as a gun, the ACR and M4 are better at range, and everything beats it up close.

i need to unlock the acr then.

Its great at range, but it takes 1 more bullet to kill at close range than all the other carbines. so its terrible in CQ

It's been a long time since I've used it, I'll have to make a video and show how I do. I know I have the ACW-R video up where I was absolutely destroying the enemy team with it. The ACW-R is easily one of the best rifles in the game, next to the M4 (Reload time and better CQC performance makes the M4 the best Engi weapon IMO)

I wish it still had a 3-hit kill.

I started using the burst fire M4 and like it the best,my 2nd fav is the ACW

Interestingly enough, I do just fine with the SCAR-H

Setup was as follows

SCAR-H: ACOG x4, Heavy Barrel, Foregrip.
M1911
Explosives

If you play more conservatively with it you'll be fine. It has much better range than the other carbines and keeps its max damage at longer ranges. So it will usually out perform other Carbines in that sense. CQC is pretty atrocious though. Stay at a distance and you'll be fine.

I would take this off, it has a negligible amount of h-recoil by itself.

I did it just to have something on the rifle to begin with. I did fine with an without it anyway. Using a sound suppressor is a nice addition too since in many cases, if you sneak up on a pack of enemies, you don't have enough rounds to for them all, this way you can ambush them and they have no idea where it's coming from.

It's my best weapon so far in the engineer class.
