the only thing that disappointed me about the first game was how the previews described you finding crazy stuff like shotguns that fired grenades and revolvers that shot rockets and shit and you didnt see much of that. I hope there's stuff like that in this.

Maybe it's cus I played Borderlands alone, but I wasn't a huge fan of it. It wasn't a bad game by any means and I don't regret buying or playing through it, but it wasn't as great to me as others claim. Still on the fence about whether I want to buy 2.

Definitely agree with you. I played a little bit of co-op and while it was more fun than playing alone it didn't add too much for me.

I hate the bazilliangillian guns thing. Let's be honest most of them look the same...

This is the same in any loot based dungeon crawler with procedurally generated loot. Besides, if all the guns were awesome it would detract from the excitement of opening chests.

The whole "87 bazillion guns" thing is a bit of a misnomer anyways. It should be "87 bazillion parts combinations," but that doesn't sound nearly as cool.

on our third playthorugh, my friend Alex and I got duped shields from a buddy and went at Craw with melee weapons. An hour and a half later, I got pissed dropped in my 69 Hunter and started using Trespass to take him down.

I bet this game is going to be ruined by playing with randoms with all their glitched weapons,shields,etc. etc.

I also wonder how they've changed the co op,it was pretty weird as it messed with alot of quests in the first game,even stuff you'd never done would show up as completed

They've fixed the drop-in multiplayer thing screwing up quest logs. I think it puts everyone in a game at the point of the least progressed player.


As for the modded weapons and shit, don't play with randoms. You have the whole SeC to play with.
