I'm getting it on xbox, because I like playing with my irl friends. And the PhysX engine, while interesting and cool looking, is totally pointless to me. Y'all are elitists.

It was tongue-in-cheek man. Play it on the platform you want and enjoy. 6 of my IRL friends are getting Borderlands 2 and they're all getting it on PC. Then there's a good chunk of SeC'ers getting it on PC as well so you can bet your ass I'm getting it on PC.

And no the graphics aren't that important, but it adds that extra layer of immersion to add to the enjoyment of the game.

Looks cool but honestly physx is usually optimized like crap since it is a nvidia only feature, so the development team puts as little effort into it as possible. Still it looks like it could add a nice level of immersion, especially if this stuff (and more) are all over the map.

This is most likely going to sound dumb to you, but I think the PhysX engine takes away from it actually. I like the cartoony, simplistic Borderlands. Trying to add on random junk like that just seems dull to me.

The entire experience of Borderlands was a cartoon, funny FPS/RPG. The graphics were objectively shit, but that was the style and it fit with the theme of the game. I like that style, and adding a ton of random little adjustments honestly, seems silly to me. Frankly, the dust swirling around, or wind blowing...that stuff is totally unimportant to me. I guess I just like games to play games, not to stare at a pretty scene.

I'm buying it on console to play with friends, not because of graphics.

Im playing Darksiders 2 right now and having a blast with it, and it looks like ass.

Adli, I'm not getting it on PC, don't have enough money for both. Since I'm definitely getting it on xbox to play with Nacho and Max, it'd be a waste of money to get another copy on PC.
