Well, I'm moving tomorrow, and my friends and I are getting cable Internet. I don't know what tier, or speed or whatever, but it has to be an improvement over what I currently have.

Lets hope so, though it is probably a definite improvement.

UPDATE:
My connection seems to fade in and out.

Though it is not stable, it is not a constant bad no more.

Good to see some kind of progress. But it is not fast enough!

Qwest doesn't operate in California... yet.
7 meg isn't their top DSL speed, it's one up from their slowest. They offer DSL packages up to 40 meg download (can't remember upload but it's pretty high). I think they also have a package that's around 60 megs.

On the radio a couple days ago they were advertising the Qwest 40 meg package for $19.99 a month I believe.

I'm supposed to be getting way higher download, same upload, and lower ping (single digit, that metal is mad at me about. LoL).

Every time the download becomes like that, the connection starts to experience instability, which is worse since the game has hard time compensating due to fluctuating levels of connection. This causes lag, just like a bad connection.

Update:

Connection was crapping my out just now. Hen and jitty (I think it was him) saw me suiciding with my own rocket in Firefight in Halo due to my two second delay in trigger pulling with rocket launcher.

I might as well write a blog of my connection status soon.

Manager just contacted my back acknowledging the problem still persists. He is saying that since the last maintenance was carried out not too long ago, it should be faster this time to re-escalate the problem, and get the maintenance to go back and have a look at it.

Get that shit fixed already
