This has happened to me several times in TF2, no idea why, but I just pick the cloud one, since I trust in Steam.

Turn the cloud off, honestly. It's ruined a lot of people's save games in BL2 so far.

Er, I think you should be doing it the other way around. If you're not moving between computers it should always be the one locally I think.


Yeah I think I'm gonna turn the cloud off. I don't think my HDD is gonna fail any time soon.

I've never had a problem with it, since I game on both my laptop and desktop. The cloud is usually more up to date.

If you get this message on your PC that is the only one that you play on, then always choose local (unless you want to roll back a save).

Sometimes the Steam does not have enough time for your PC to send the data over before you shutdown steam (eg shutting down a computer and steam is forcibly closed while its trying to send over the data).
