been thinking of getting like an external 1tb HDD, my laptop is almost full

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Hard-Drive-Enclosures/15222301#Specifications is what I'm thinking of, 1tb Seagate Portable hard drive (only powered by USB, no AC power cord needed)

anybody have any experience with this? I heard it's "only" a 5400rpm drive, but, I heard it doesn't matter for an external drive. I know like WD and Seagate are one of the 2 big companies, so I assume it'll be good

I saw some Toshiba HDDs,but....I don't think I'd want to trust them haha

another question, could I just open up the case and use that HDD as my internal laptop drive?Or is that too much trouble?

I have the seagate 1tb drive...I like it. Works good.

I play Sleeping Dogs off of it, with not game lag (graphical freezes because my comp is shit)....but it works great.

I actually have the exact one myself (I think), but the actual product looks SLIGHTLY different from the one shown in the picture.

Its working fine, and had been using it for over a year now.

Is your laptop designed so that you can easily replace the hdd?

Most laptops require you to DESTROY your laptop to get to your hdd, and even that requires special tools to remove parts. Besides, you pretty much have to destroy the external hdd you are going to buy, to get to remove the hdd from it.
