BF3 Aftermath

Anyone coming back for Aftermath? Armored Kill was a turd as far I am concerned. I still play on the DICE B2K servers when I play. Aftermath footage looks pretty awesome tho!

I also actually like what I have seen of the crossbow so far!

I haven't checked it out but I was considering giving it a try. Its been a long time since I played BF3

Crossbow is certainly a game changer, and the maps are, from what I've heard, pretty good. Karkand sized. Dunno how the vehicles balance out for each side, that was B2K's big problem.

so is the crossbow a 1HKO attachment? That's the way it seemed from the trailer. I foresee much butthurt and crying in the future if that's the case.

Looks like the main bolt is but you have to be close maybe? Plus the drop on the arrows is pretty crazy so the range isnt very good I don;t think. I'm excited for the versatility the crossbow offers. Especially since I lone wolf it most of the time.

Running support, with the UMP45, scan bolt with ammo fills. O yea. I won;t miss C4 at all!

Actually my friend posted a video ofhim using the bow on firestorm and the drop didn't look like much. I think it's less then any of the sniper rifles couldn't tell what bolt he was using though. He shot from the center tower between C and B to about just out side of the american spawn boundaries.

Yeah same here I've been playing alot of Skyrim the past few days.

I'll probably end up getting the DLC as I have a bunch of ms points just sitting on my account since I had planed to get premium for BF3 but then didn't.

Played some BF3 to work on some of the assignments I didn't finish. Like the MTAR camo one. Damn I've never really used the Mtar but its a beast! Specially playing Conquest Domination matches to farm kills! Man some p layers are so easy and predictable! HAHA

Had a LOT of fun playing tho so hope to see some folks come back!

using the mtar with heavy barrel and the flashlight makes people cry lol.

I might have to brush though the most recent patch notes and forums to get an idea where the guns are at right now. BF3 changed so drastically from launch to the present as far as how the guns feel and how everything works.

I also played a match were a bunch of people were using ahotties so I switched to the SAIGA and that thing rapes now! It was fun for me! Not for them! HAHA

have they nerfed everything to be pretty much identical within a class yet?

I don;t think there are any identical guns. I don;t know tho. Milk might know betteer, He hangs out with those A team fellers and they analyze that shit to death! I just play!

I do agree that they fucked up with the Stinger Igla buff and screwed choppers but I don;t really fly anyway so I guess I didn't care haha

Lock on at lower altitudes as well as have longer range, in addition they removed flares for the gunner seat so only the pilot has them. Makes the chopper a little too easy to take out of the sky.

well,the AEK and M416,or AN-94 for assault is probably "best" now. For engie,all of em feel about the same to me,Mtar is good up close though. For support,eh...I either run UMP-45 or Spas-12 slugs ,for sniper, the SKS. The M417 suffers WAY too much when people are shooting at you.

then the thing with the stingers buff and choppers not having the 2nd flare for the gunner

claymores and c4 don't stay after death anymore


zombie medic squads are still the most annoying

for most guns,don't use the front grip and use heavy barrel

I think Tapia nailed it. THo I would ad for support class the M27 and the L86 are the way to go. The L86 is fucking awesome I think!

RPK with kobra and heavy barrel is decent too ,L86 is cool too,I find it most consistent with the laser,heavy barrel or extended mag didn't do much for me

trust me,I'm a lvl 100

L86 is my go to gun for support.

ahhhhh one of the best feelings in the world is running up behind the WHOLE enemy team on metro,droppin some C4,do a hop,skip and a jump and blow the c4.....lol BOOM lol

L86 was just about the only support gun I used before I quit playing.

is the M60 and Bipod still rape city? or not so much? I was rocking that quite a bit before I stopped playing. Seemed like the flavor support gun at the time.

oh and are javs still annoying as fuck when you're in a tank? Is it still suicide without the smoke perk?

and ya,smoke is a must lol,although if you have a good team mate you could probably get by with armor

Well I remember when I was still playing they had just buffed the javs and tank shells. It was pretty much suicide to even attempt to run without smoke AND armor.

I always found proxy scan more useful for those damn sneaky c4 supports

Ideally as a driver you'd have an awesome gunner friend who can run proxy for you.

haha no I just meant if you have people to play with that can run proxy for you then they are by default awesome (At least in my book).

Since Hydra won't, allow me. i wrecked shit in the tank. I felt bad for the other team at times, so i guess I understand why they buffed the Jav. Before they did I would get 15 kills on a good run before anyone took out my tank. I think my record was 34-0 or something like that.

I have never had a problem not using smoke, so I never, ever use it.

If someone does fire a Jav at me I just hit the gas and the sprint and much of the time the jav will miss you.

I wish I could try out any of whatever it is you guys are talking about but alas...

This sucker was an original. Like ORIGINAL original. It came with the lowest amount of hard drive space and I ended up swapping out for a 60gig harddrive with a buddy. (his died too) But the machine itself was old as hell. oh the memories...

But yea, the budget is a little thin right meow so unfortunately I can't get a new one.
