The game gets stuck if the connection is lost between the FC3 server and client, in a flippin SINGLE PLAYER. Its not like one of those "you lost connection, the game will save and exit you out", but instead it is a game error which completely bugs out the game...

Have to do bunch of hunting again...

You can start your Uplay in offline mode, and play offline that way.

HOWEVER, when starting game in online mode, if you have lost connection to the server somehow (even if it is server's fault), you are going to lose your progress.

You have to be online to get achievements, and Uplay points to spend on other stuff.
