[BF3] Players that are so good, they seem to be hacking

I've run into some, and there are those that pull off these crazy ass kills and you're sitting there scratching your head going "Wtf?"

One or two kills like that, ok, could be luck, but instant head shots with a REX as well as insanely long range head shots while in the motion of a vault certainly makes you question a players "legitness".

Had a guy recently like that, he was good, stupid good as a recon player. I'm alright, I've still yet to master moving targets for head shots, but this guy was really really good.

I've had my fair share of "badass" matches, but it makes you wonder sometimes if some of these folks have the ability to turn a "hack" on and off at a whim. Not saying this guy was, but there are just some of those occasions when his skills were just a bit "too" good.

What's ya'll' take on the matter? Ever encountered a player so freaking good at a game that you could swear that they must be cheating somehow?

Kudo's to him though, tried to friend him, but he hasn't replied as of yet. Always admire a good recon player that knows what they're doing.

yea a few times,mostly really high levels,although a few must have started new accounts because the other day a level 3 was chumping our whole team >__>.They must have a godly connection too because I never even know I'm getting shot at,I'm just instantly dead

His w/l also seems iffy, as its quite low, as if he is REALLY good that people are calling him hacking, then he really should be leading his team to victory single handedly.

If he is really that great, and is assault most of the time, he really should have higher SPM than me.

I have 612, he has 572. And my 612 is from the time when I quit BF3. Now there are modes that boost your SPM crazy (I heard CQC maps are SPM whore heaven), and his SPM is lower than mine? Yup, he sucks.

He really just could be a bad player that sometimes hacks (or recently started hacking).

I have only encountered one player who seemed sketchy in game. I chalked it up to lag but one more than one occasion I was killed with what I would consider a near impossible shot.

I was playing recently and I was in the little bird came up behind the Z-11 and I opened up the miniguns on him. He turns around and starts shooting me and in seconds I die. I was like........ How did he kill me so fast..... Maybe I got hit by an RPG at the same time I don't know. Seemed strange to me.

BUT COD is another story.....my god......I raise my eyebrows after like every 5th death.

I've only ever seen 2 hackers and they were both in BC2 on PC. Most of the eyebrow raising deaths in video games are due to latency making things look wonky.



Edit: This isn't counting MW2. That game just doesn't count when it comes to finding hackers.

The skill ceiling on BF is much higher than COD

But for some reason Im just average at COD on PC, and pretty good at BF.

I dont know what it is.

Its a mentality thing for me sym. They way I enjoy playing matches up with they style that is successful on BF games. Whereas on CoD the whole "camping" thing works better but I just don't enjoy it so I suffer to an extent on CoD because I am unwilling to just sit back and wait for enemies to come to me.

Im a flanker, and in COD flanking just gets you killed because of the odd spawns and small ass maps.

It's because you CAN be good at BF3 and in CoD no matter how good you are there's just a randomness that gets you killed no matter how much you prepare for the situation

yea that's how I feel and why I quit playing COD online and even Halo.I just much prefer BF3 to it.I'd take BC2 over em too.I hated how in Halo it took a million bullets to kill somebody but they always killed me quick.Maybe bad servers or something but it's not like that in BF for me.

That's how i feel, I hate the BS deaths you tend to get in CoD, not saying it's a bad game, to each their own, but for me, if I die in BF3, either my team sucks or I made a mistake or did something to get myself killed. CoD, you could be awesome at the game and still get steamrolled simply because you happened to spawn badly a dozen or so times.

spawn system is horrible,I've died INSTANTLY as soon as I spawn so much...bullshit lol

BF3 has some pretty fucking shitty spawns.

Are you play on PC or console Ante? I occasionally get a crappy spawn but the vast majority of the time I'm fine. It's pretty rare that I get one of those numerous BS spawns that seem to be rampant in the CoD franchise and to some extent in Halo too.

I play on PC. It's obviously no where near the level of CoD, but BF3 does have some spawns that are just mind boggling. Seine Crossing comes to mind.


Also I just want to say that Aftermath is pretty sweet. Played for a while and actually had fun. That's been a rare thing for me in BF3.

Capping A in a tank is perhaps the most stressful thing ever.

Only time I can really think of was this one guy a few months ago that used the Pecheneg and would always hip fire, head shot me at all ranges..was a 1 hit kill almost every time. I was in a group of 4 when we were playing and everyone was having trouble killing him. He was going about 35-4 every match and he was only a 1.5 k/d player. At the time I was thinking he might be using an aimbot, but if he was he couldn't have been using it for very long since his k/d was only around 1.5.

yeah I don't know how people insta kill me with LMGs using the front grip from FAR away,when I use em without a bipod,I just get hit markers
