I haven't actually played the multiplayer since before the expansion with the N7 characters, I did enjoy it though.

Would I be at much of a disadvantage if I were to start playing again now?

Eh, not really. There are plenty of players who have low level gear who play on Gold and such. You just would have to focus more on some of the power heavy classes since your guns won't be as good.

If you ever feel like playing hit me up. I play all the time on Gold and Plat and have about a 90% success rate. We can make up for the time you lost in a hurry.

Did Bioware ever fix the flat rate armor reduction on weapons that made high ROF, low damage guns almost worthless?

most of the guns felt useless like waterguns to me besides the reegar carbine shotgun/blue flamethrower thingy on my vorcha guy lol.

installed the disc again yesterday,been meaning to play again,I need to install the last MP thing where you could fight the collectors

I was going to boost on firebase gold on geth but I heard they fixed it =/

i guess I don't recall this, I have no problems dealing with armored enemies with smgs and such though so I would guess so.
