I only use iPhone since I got it for free, and have been forced to use iTunes due to some random reason.

Its not that great. I want to try android phones, since I hear a lot of good things about them.

I would get an android phone just because of the amount of freedom you get and that they are awesome. Do not get the new samsung one go for the droid x/2 or wait for the droid pro.

I have yet to mess with any Android/Google smart phone so I couldn't say. I've heard good things to, but I've heard that some still prefer the IPhone even after getting a Droid. I don't think you'll be unhappy with an IPhone with Verizon, but being completely content is something you gotta find out. I gotta do more hands on research as well.

If you want to use your phone as a gaming device though I would get iphone just because most, if not all games on android are crap.

Oh yeah, you can hack or jailbreak your IPhone for free apps. I don't know about the Droids though.

Jailbreaking part, is considered legal.

Downloading paid apps for free is another story.

I never switched when the iphone came about because I get a 29% discount on phones/plans/accessories through work with Verizon, iv been eyeing the droid2 but all my friends swear by the iphone....I'm so torn

Mostly it would be to mess around on forums or site if I need to fix things on the go.
How are the browsers for each?

The iphone browser is a little faster but android has flash 10.1 and comparable speed. (be sure to turn flash to on demand if you get one.)

Yes, but you can get Skyfire for the Android which smokes both stock browsers! Very Happy

Mr. Super Dr. Awesomesauce I recommend you go Android. I will be jumping from WinMo to Android myself as soon as the next OS version hits the market.

Cool. I was referring mostly to the fact that it plays all imbedded video/flash etc just like a PC browser...
I didn't realize how much faster it is too!

Actually all the browsers do that because of flash 10.1 including flash games.

Really? I tried running video on my friends Droid X from IGN and Red Tube cheers and it wouldn't do either (stock browser). I could only get youtube to work...
Maybe his settings were just wrong.

You have to download flash from the market lol and for a while the droid x did not have it.

The iPhone is an over-marketed piece of crap. Most of the people who love their iPhones are Apple fan boys, who will lap up whatever their trendy masters spoon feed them. FFS, the iPhone 4 has the antenna wrapped around the outside of the phone, where you are basically forced to touch it. In case you don't know, touching an antenna drastically reduces its power. Apple also forbids the use of Flash on its devices, because they want to monopolize and control the media you access. Fuck Apple and their snotty little fans.

My brother has an IPhone 4. He says it's not really a big deal and he's picky on that stuff. Plus everyone in my family is a PC or a Penguin.
