I noticed that above the DAM it shows a little picture, but I have NO clue what it's for. I'm probably just being stupid but can anyone help me?

And I also looked in the manual and still couldn't figure it out, just in case you were wondering.

The little picture is the recommended guns level for use. If your guns level is too low, it'll be less accurate (definitely), and maybe less poweful (not sure)

Kyuubey

The icon shows you what type of weapon it is (Energy, Guns, Explosives), and the number is the requirement you need in that skill to use it effectively. Fort example, if it has a bomb as the picture, it means it belongs to the explosive skill. If the number is 25, it means you need 25 in your Explosive skill to use it effectively. If you don't meet the requirements, then you will have lowered accuracy if it is a gun, or it will swing slower if it is Unarmed or Melee.

Kitsune, it only decreases accuracy/speed.

Okay, thank you! I thought that it was that but I wasn't sure and it bugged me so much I had to stop playing just to ask haha. And by the way I'm loving the game so far!

It's a great game, isn' it? Very Happy

Kyuubey

Kyuubey

Yeah, it's a great game. It's easy to make mistakes that affects you for the rest of the game, and I made a lot of them, so I'm making a new character.

Okay sweet, that's what I didn't like so much about the last one. You could just correct your mistakes buy giving a bum some water, it didn't give any challenge. Already this game feels more challenging and it just feels like a whole new experience to me.

Lol, like what? Joining the Chuck-E-Cheese gang?

Kyuubey

Kyuubey

Yes, actually. Also

Also, I invested too much stat points into Energy weapons when I didn't even use them. I wasted at least 60 points.

Well, I can understand the Energy Weapons, but not that as much. I did that too. Smile

Another question lol, what does the vault 13 cantine or whatever do?

Guest

Guest

Not sure, I never used my code Sad

Guest

Guest

Oh, why not? And I just googled it lol and found out that it's an infinite amount of water but you only drink it when your H20 meter gets to 200. Making it pretty usefull for hardcore I'm guessing. You can't force yourself to drink it either, it's automatic as long as its in your inventory.

If you're playing Hardcore mode, it automatically decreases your dehydration meter.

I don't know, just kinda felt like cheating to type in a code to get an easier headstart.

Also, can you only use the code for one playthrough?

Kyuubey

Kyuubey

You can use it as many times as you want.

Oh, okay. So, once I type it in, is it automatic? Or how does it work?

Kyuubey

Kyuubey

It's automatic, but I'm pretty sure you can turn it off.

Alright, I'm just curious. I think on my next run-through, I'm going to try something different, like join Chuck-E-Cheese, and use Melee/Unarmed.

Lol. You should join the Legion. The problem with joining the Legion, though, is the lack of side quests and the NCR hating you. One of the Legion side quests (I Put a Spell on You) is bugged so you can't complete it. You have to talk to an undercover Legion person, but he is hostile towards you for some reason.

That reminds me of how I managed to get to the fort, but if I walked too close to the Legion, they'd try to attack me, so I'd just keep reloading. I never could get to start "Render unto Caesar" just for fun, no matter how much I tried, lol.

Kyuubey

Kyuubey

Doing Render Unto Caesar would cause the NCR to hate you. Also, don't you get invited to the fort while leaving the tops, and you are forgiven by the Legion for anything you did wrong?

Guest

Supposedly yes, that's why I was laughing my ass off. I tried to dress as them and everything, but walking too close to the Legion, ESPECIALLY dogs, made them hate you. There's dogs everywhere around Caesar. I didn't care if the NCR hated me; I had a seperate save file just to try it out. When I couldn't do it, I just deleted it.

The code is for DLC.
