Just got a "Mystery savings" on C&C Ultimate Collection pack $9.99 on Origin Direct Download

I just bought it, and I shat bricks when I saw the price.

Been wanting to pick this up for a long as time. C&C was the very first RTS game I ever played, so much nostalgia with it.

The pack contains every single C&C game ever created, so you can say I'm one happy camper at the moment!

I've never played any of them....I got the whole collection the other day for 12 on green man gaming haha

It's more nostalgic than anything, if you want actual strategic RTS then you should play Company of Heroes. Most RTS games when you see a tank you're all "oh it's a tank". In Company of Heroes you go "OH !@#% IT'S A TANK!" hell, even early game you sometimes go "%$*@ it's and armored car!"

Cover plays a role at times in Company of heroes too, I really enjoy the game. It's a lot of fun, easily the best RTS game ever created in my book. The amount of strategy needed and quick thinking required is what makes it fun IMO. It's very pretty to boot, and the infantry are scaled to size with the tanks and buildings (I always found it funny how all the soldiers looked like a mutant cousin of Sasquatch or something.)

I thought about getting the new company of heros when it came out but I haven't even played the 1st one although I got it awhile back in the thq sale

If you don't like micro intensive games Jr, you probably won't like CoH. I'll see about posting a video or something here of some more skilled players going at it to give you an idea when I get the chance.

I suck balls at RTS games...I tried to get into starcraft years back and the computer would always completely wreck my shit unless I did a cheap early game rush but that's no fun.
