Metro: Last Light Rumours Point to Separate Multiplayer and Five DLCs

A translation taken from the Last Light forums gleaned the following information regarding Metro: Last Light, which incidentally went gold recently, if you're interested. Apparently, 4A Games wants to release Metro: Last Light multiplayer as a separate thing entirely, possibly as a download via XBLA. This would release about six months after the game's launch. That's the first bit of info.

Furthermore, Prokhorov also told ITC that there'll be five doses of Metro: Last Light DLC, with story missions from the perspective of other characters. This is reportedly not cut content and was developed following the end of the game's development. As such, a Season Pass could be likely.

yeah 5 dlcs seems a bit much...that plus the separate multiplayer makes it kind of reek of "cash grab"

yea thinking on it now seems crappy...unless the single player dlc gets great reviews I won't bother.Although the main game seems cool

The game alone looks amazing. Im getting it Day one. I probably wont get the MP DLC at all, and depending on what the 5 dlc packs are and how good the game actually is, determines if I get those.

i enjoyed the first game immensly....never got dlc...I dont get dlc anymore anyways soo

yeah I barely get it unless it's a "goty" version of the game,dlc has rarely ever added anything meaningful to me to any game

yeah only game I can think of where dlc was worth it is....that first dlc for ME3 ....at least story wise it informed me on info I did not know regarding reapers and the prometheans.

Outside of that I cant think of anything really

I'll buy DLC for games I enjoy. Sometimes I regret it a little. Like with BL2, I bought the season pass but by the time they release the last DLC I think I will have shelved the game for good.
