man I heard they ruined them with the recent re-releases lol. The old versions were cool....I'd take it over star trek any day (which I found extremely cheesy)

Star Wars is good aside from them adding whiny main characters(Luke and Anikan). Anikan is unbearable on Episode II where he's at his stage where he's not evil yet but constantly pouts about how things are unfair and how he doesn't like sand.

The original Star Trek is also cheesy but that's just the 60's for you. I've only gotten like a quarter way through next gen so far so I dunno how the newer series are. The new movies are good as shit and I hear the same dude is going to be directing the new Star Wars movies so they should also be good as shit.

But the best space based series is Battlestar Galactica. That shit puts both Star Wars and Star Trek to shame. Anybody who has seen it has had a similar experience to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njr3aFpTMyQ

I watched the entire new Battlestar. It's entertaining.

I'm more of a Stargate/Battlestar guy myself.
