When i built my rig I was looking at this

but I'm wondering if anything new has come out that trounces it for the price.

Samsung 840 is supposed to be pretty good too. I'm not sure if it's better than the OCZ though. Samsung is a bit cheaper I believe.

Cheaper is good Hydra. Cheaper is good. I will look into this Samsung 840.

840 Pro is really good, but if price is an issue you can get the 840 EVO.

samsung 840 256gb is like ~160 

evo is a little faster than regular 840 and like ~175 for 256gb, I just went with that(840 256gb) since I'd run out quick on just 120gb

Yeah I also went with a 256Gb just in case.

I only plan on keeping the OS + BF4 + whatever MMO i'm currently playing on the SSD so I'm gonna go with a ~128.

Probably pair it up with my current harddrive for all my piratey shenanigans and a 2TB HDD for recording.

heard the plextor m5pro or whatever is 99 and has 5 year warranty,sale could of been off though,was reading the best ssd's for aug. the other day on tomshardware
