Apparently the quick save and auto save functions on FO:NV are bugged right now, so I just lost about 3 hours of gameplay when my game crashed.

I am raging so hard right now, might stop playing until a patch is released.

I've been hearing that it is Steam that is fucking you over not the game. Something about off-line mode helping? I dunno...I only play Dawn of War on Steam.

Well on the upside, 3 hours in fallout doesn't do much to put you back. Just wander off in the opposite direction this time and you'll never know the difference.
