I think BF3 shipped with ten

I hope we get at least 12-15

10 + the 4 classics I think so 14 total. within the first few weeks.

It also looks like the base 10 will have far more variety to them than BF3.

Big City, Dense Jungle, Tiny tropical islands, Snow, Desert etc...

Really? I dont remember that at all.

But now that I think about it.....you may be correct. I think there were 4 rush maps and 4 conquest maps initially.

yeah i just looked at the timeframe of the map packs in BC2. there really wasn't much. i don't ever remember getting bored with the maps in that game either

vanilla wise i fucking LOVED Arica, especially on conquest. Once we got Oasis though, that was pretty much all I played. The only map that frustrated me was Cold War.

i'd like dice to bring back some more orchestral themes too... i like BF3s minimalist design, but BC2s music was a lot more epic

Yea thats true. That was probably it. Attack was horrible on the first base as everyone and their mom camped.
