yeah I really don't like pre builts,usually power supply is crap and proprietary motherboard

I actually had to put a new connector on the cable from the case (had the on/off/ reset switch and the lights on it) Like a 7 pin connector thing, normally there separate, well they were in the wring order for my mobo so re wired it

Which brings me to a new question... do they still put them shitty plastic push in pegs on heatsinks / fans now? I managed to break all 4 of mine over the years so now my heatsink is attached to the mobo with screws and bolts

nah every modern case just has a usb 2.0 header, and several other things you plug in for the power switch,reset, LED HDD indicator ,etc. need to look in the motherboard book or case booklet what is what....some are a bitch and don't tell you which is positive or negative side,if one side doesn't work just flip it around lol.



and yeah intel stock heatsinks are still like that. Loud as fucking hell when gaming,which is why I got the hyper evo 212 cooler,it was totally silent
