I'm so sick of people freaking out about "news articles" but basing their freak outs on nothing more than the titles.

And lets face it, these titles are meant to rile you up and get you to read the damn article - which will often have very little to do with the title or be far less extreme than what you were lead to believe.

So OMG, make a calm, reasonable argument and people freak out even more.  Idiots!  Idiots and I hate them.  Stupid people.

I try to read from multiple sources, because it's very clear that no matter what "news outlet" you go to, they'll always try to spin it in a certain direction. The most reliable and credible source I find is foreign news agencies such as BBC, since they really have no stakes in the politics of America, so they just report the news.

MSNBC is a waste of time, and frankly, they're a pox on the planet that deserves to be purged with fire.

The others, are typical MSM pricks, sensationalizing everything in their desperate quest for higher ratings. Everyone demonizes Fox News, and it's true you need to question everything they say, but more often than not, they tend to get a number of their facts right (which isn't much) over the others depending on the topic. CNN is more neutral but leans a little to the left, which is where I go to try and get a less biased story.

All in all, if you want the full story, you have to be willing to do the research and digging, because you won't get it by just watching the boob-tube.

I'm just sick of people reading only the headline and then freaking the fuck out like the world is ending. I mean.. seriously.

I've stopped reading or commenting on the articles that friend posts because.... just too much stupid from extremist lunatics.
