When used correctly, they're a real pain in the ass. So far I like them, though you need to have good pilots on your side to keep them from getting owned.

Yeah. I was piloting one on the attackers side of Parcel Storm. I was kicking so much ass, until I got a bit close to shore and a Recon got me with C4.

Yeah, they won't hold up for long in a sustained dual with other armor, hell even other boats, if they get a TOW missile into you, you're toast.

It's so annoying to get into one as a gunner, only to have the chump who's driving it stop dead in his or her tracks to fire at an APC or something. Hit and run seems to be where it shines.

Pretty much. I notice this on Siege of Shanghai. Staying within the bay is a death sentence with the attack boats. I was easily able to own one of the boats with the main cannon from the tank. Once crippled it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

They are super fun. Fun to fight too. I like taking them on head-to-head in the water with an IFV. So far I think I'm 3-0 against boats in a floating tank. Hilarious fights those are.

Even the Rhib boat is useful now with guns that can actually kill things. Jet ski is fun too.
Pretty much all the water stuff is badass (even swimming and diving!)

Yeah, for the most part, the Naval aspect of BF4 is really spot on IMO.

Just don't fight too close to the shore, and you should be fine.

Seen too many boaters trying to be all heroic and closing into shoreline and getting wasted.

Its not like they have the armour of... armour or speed/agility of chopper.
