Are these servers safe?

I remember back in BF2/2142, if you get caught, EVERYONE in that server got banned permanently.

Had to buy one of my teammate a new copy of the game because he was stupid enough to play in them knowing he will get banned, JUST BEFORE MATCH...

What? Yes? Why wouldn't they be? It's not an official server, it's only ranked. BF3 had servers that restricted weapons for its entire lifespan and no one ever had an issue.

I guess the policy has changed.

Ranked servers back in the days had little freedom in server variable.

Time, ticket, and population pretty much was the only things you can touch. anything out of the "norm" of play would have gotten you banned.

There were bunch of achievement whores who went into pistol and knife servers to farm kills for those medals, and many of them regretted.

Yeah I remember that Storm. Back in BF2 days I didn't find the risk worth the chance of being banned.

Before the medal nerf, knife combat medal was something like 30+ knife kills in a round... Which was insane...

I managed to do it, but it absolutely destroyed my stats. LoL

lol, that was also back in the day when you had to go and do the dance of death in knife combats...back when it was like a mark of honor to pull out your knife and initiate a dual.

It was generally frowned upon for you to use your gun when someone pulled out their knife.

Trying to get knife kills in BF2 is something most of you guys have not experienced.

Its totally different compared to BC2 and onwards, and even BF2142 was different...

Ill have you know I played 1942 when it came out!

I only ever played D Day as a Sniper firing into the lading craft and usually had no fucking Idea what was going on but I played it!

2142 knifing was special. Always some guy on a car taunting me that I couldn't hit him (you can't jump and knife).

Then I kill him with a knife. The secret was to knife then jump.

Last time I joined a pistol only on 2142 was a Gibraltar match where everyone huddled up at the hole in the wall. Not actually a pistol match but more of a farming game.

I got banned for 3 lucky headshots, haha.

This guys facial expression almost seem like they are out of order. Shouldn't the second normal face come before the extreme-push face?

Did someone put it together wring or is that how it originally was and the editor screwed it up?
