Why are randoms so mean?!?

i will now regale with a tale of Epyk Proprotions

so im playing nelsonbay SDM is me and 2 randoms against the OMG clan.
since im noobing it up with the AN-94 to plat it early, i am destroying these poor guys.
by the end of the round me and the 2 randoms win by 1 point (so the destroying part may have been narrative embellishment)

my final score is 36-7(?)
closest person to me has 20 kills (hes a lvl 50 from the OMG clan)
i send a message to him, and his 3 clan mates expressing my thanks to and awesome, nail biting game, and highlight points such as "you got me pretty good a few times with the sv98"

i only get one response, from the guy who scored 8 kills...

in my mind im like ....0.0..... WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!11!15!!??!

i respond with

"Really? i compliment you and your clan mates on a game well played. and you respond with a generic immature insult like "hacker?" should i reply with LRN2PLAY? Regardless i enjoyed the competition you guys provided, thus i wont be retracting my praise."

i was being nice....but i died a little inside...i was gonna FR them and lure them to the Darkside (SeC)
