Who says "randoms"?

Some guy in my squad the other day was complaining that the team was all randoms, including me because I wasn't using my mic, but afterwards I wasn't sure if "random" is just a gamefaqs term or what. Maybe he was from gamefaqs or here... >_>

When you say randoms it refers to anyone that you do not know and is "bad" at the game.

We're all someone's randoms.

I say randoms. Because of the rest of you.

I usually refer to them as BK randies or ass holes, or a combo of the two.

I only say "random" because people always use it. Some of the other words I tend to use for most teammates I don't know are, but not limited to:

"Stupid fucks"
"Worthless animals"
" ********"
"Idiots"
"Piles of shit"
"Hunk of garbage"
"Imbeciles"
"Dumbasses"
"Brainless apes"
"Unintelligent heaps of filth"

In other words, I'm not usually a fan of my teammates assigned to me at random. They have never done anything except for keep from winning.

I never play with anyone who is not a random, therefore I don't use the term.

I do tend to scream "MORONS!" at my television quite a bit, though.

It's not to people I know, just random teammates. If anything, playing MP online has just proved to me just how stupid some people can be. Back in my CoD4 days, if I was playing HC, teammates were nothing more to me than mobile ammo dropoffs; they tended to "accidently" get caught in crossfire between an enemy and I when I felt like I was running out of ammunition in my current weapon.

After losing more matches then winning, especially when you get scores like 30-0, 30-1, 42-3, 67-5 (in CoD4 TDM, In Groundwar, we only won by one point, and the score was tied before the last kill). It gets really old after a while. All I want to do is sit down, and have fun playing a nice game of CoD, but when other people ruin it for me, I tend to get kinda mad.

I mean don't get me wrong, I get frustrated when I lose because of bad teammates, but I don't think I've ever called them stupid or anything like that.

Well this usually escalates into someone telling Bob he rages too much and is too hard and people for being bad at games and he argues back and everyone gets all pouty and a mod closes the topic.

You gotta admit calling someone a brainless ape is pretty harsh though.

Yeah it is, but I hardly think he really means it in the heat of the rage moment. Regardless, we all know Bob rages hard and calling him out on it usually leads to the same hostile looking argument that no one needs.

I feel bad for most randoms... they seem like they're always in a state of complete confusion, not enjoying the game. They run blindly from building to building trying to catch butterflies and whatnot, oblivious to the goings-on around them. But perhaps I am wrong? They do say ignorance is bliss...

Trying to catch the butterflies in BC2 is the best part of the whole damn game.

I dunno, if my teammates are too good, it doesn't bother me. Pretty much I either click with my team, or I don't. If I don't then I just lone wolf it and ignore them. Works out fine.

Unless they start acting like assholes. Then I blow holes in the buildings they are camping in to expose them to enemy fire. ... I think I'm still pissed at being laughed at and told to take a time out for being new.

I try not to rage at my randoms. I useually don't, the only time I get upset is if I'm stuck in a squad with multiple snipers hiding in a bush in the middle of nowhere, and that is more of a bad luck kinda thing.

I don't plug my mic in if I'm playing with randoms. Bad things happen. And they do not include me raging at them.

I'm still laughing at D's dancing Vader post.
