I'd have to say it was probably the easiest CoD on Veteran, but it was still fun. I don't feel as though it's going to be as much of a bragging right as CoD4 though, but oh well. Got that out of the way. Smile

Nice. Personaly, I thought WaW was harder than CoD4. I did 4s twice cause my friend was stuck on Charlie don't surf, and I ended up beating the whole campaign that night, including Mile high club.

I will probably start working on vetern after I get to like lvl 40 or so.

I had to help a friend with Vet too on CoD4. I think that CoD4 was harder than WaW, but only a couple of levels. Overall, WaW more difficult, but then again, I never got Purple Heart on WaW, and I would've earned it on 4, for sure.

CoD4 had like 3-4 hard levels if I remember. WaW had like 5-6 hard ones if I remember. It's been awhile since I played either.

This game only had one part that I got stuck on, and that was because I was unsure that I had to kick some stupid barrels, but once I figured out what to do, it only took 10 minutes.

Ya I got stuck their on regualar because I thought I just had to kill them ha.

On Regular, I didn't even have to kick the barrels over, it just let me keep going once I reached the bottom of the hill. On Veteran, I made it there once, then died, and was just thinking, "What the fuck am I supposed to do then?!" Then after a few more tries, I noticed Woods kick over the barrel, and I'm just sitting there going "Ohhh....."

Ya on reg, I was mowing en down with the mounted M60. And it just kept going, then I ran and started killing up close and I saw the same thing.

CoD4 was easy on Veteran, you had an automatic weapon, they used weapons other than a bag of grenades and the only tough instances in the game (No Fighting in the War Room and One Shot One Kill) weren't all that bad. Mile High Club was more momentum + luck than anything - if you got perfect stun grenade tosses you could go through the entire level without shooting a gun for the most part (until you got to the narrow tunnel area on the 2nd floor, where 20 enemies block your progress).

World at War was a fucking bitch. If you got wounded by a bolt-action rifle (which every enemy was holding and had perfect aim) you were brought to one-shot and then they'd hurl a billion frags. Also unlimited spawns everywhere.

CoD4 was less difficult over all, but the difficult parts were much worse than WaWs. The only time I even had a little difficulty was on WaW's "Burn 'Em Out" at the very beginning of the level. The rest of it I thought was really easy. The grenade spam wasn't that bad if you knew when to throw them back/when to run away, and infinite spawns were easily gotten past by just running past them after killing a few enemies. I don't know, I thought WaW's was much more easy overall; no Purple Heart achievement.

Good job lad.

My copy is still in original wrap. LoL

At the very beginning? You realize you had to throw a smoke grenade, right?

The end of Burn 'Em Out was much worse, there's a tunnel where a frag grenade appears in the middle of the room as you try to move through it and several Banzai guys run out from around the corner. To make matters worse there's a couple T99 LMG guys holed up behind cover, and they respawn infinitely until you move forward.

There's absolutely no cover to move forward and the enemies spawn from around the corner and join the the T99 guys behind cover. It took me a while to figure that one out.

Yes, but just after the part with the smoke grenade, there's a bunch of snipers and such, not to mention I kept getting killed by my dumbass teammates. They would throw back grenades AT ME, instead of the enemy, for some God forsaken reason. Obviously I'm not imbecilic to have forgotten that I had to throw a smoke grenade.

If I were to rank them I'd go CoD2 > WaW > CoD4 > MW2.

In CoD2 EVERY hard mission had several objectives that involved killing every enemy in a house, which was annoying since they'd just wait staring at the door so it was a memory thing more than anything. And you had to complete an objective for a checkpoint...

World at War had the most difficulty in terms of frag spam and the lack of cover. Basically any 'infinitely spawning enemies' scenario placed a MASSIVE open stretch between you and the enemies. holy crap it was annoying.

Call of Duty 4 was pretty easy, the only frustrating part I had was the ferris wheel. But then I hid out behind the bumper cars and finished it, then later I found out that there were actual Jesus spots you could hide in without seeing a single enemy until the chopper came in lol.

Modern Warfare 2 was a joke, just camp and move forward after you defeat the waves of enemies. Some Spec Ops missions made up for it slightly though.

I've never got to play CoD2 that much, because I only borrowed it for a few days from a friend, so I can't really judge that.

MW2 was easy-peasy; everything about it was.

WaW was fairly easy, then entire way through.

CoD4 was mostly easy, with a few frustrating parts.

Black Ops, was only a little more difficult than MW2 at best.

COD4 was tough but not too bad. That is one of the only games I have 1000/1000 on lol. The only mission that was really tough on vet was mile high club. Never had trouble with no fighting in the war room which a lot of people seem to have trouble with.

WAW was harder. Havnt done most of the veteran missions on that, I just gave up lol.

MW2 was easy. I think I still need to get 2 achievements for the last 2 veteran spec ops missions.

Havnt started BO on veteran but shouldnt be too hard. Hardest part on regular for me was figuring out those fucking barrels. Could they not just put a marker over it saying "hey, kick this"?
