You know I play video games to rest, relax and have fun

So why the fuck do I still play every damn CoD game that is released? All they do is piss me off. Atrocious spawns, gay ass kill streaks, shitty hit registration, THE KNIFE! it's always the same game, game after game.
So why do I continue to play this series knowing I hardly ever get any enjoyment from it.

CoD is the only series that makes me fucking pissed off. Ask some of the guys I was playing with last night, like Epyk or Tom. I was yelling in rage and frustration at the game last night(I know I only did it in two games but I'm sorry if I got annoying). So after all this why do I still play the damn series??? I HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE

TL;dr: I Play games to have fun, so why do I play call of duty?

Because it is fun getting a high killstreak and raping noobs?

You must have just had bad luck because this is the least frustrating CoD for me so far.

What Higu said; this game initially pissed me off, because I was used to getting pissed off at everything, but it is the least frustrating CoD by far. The knife is actually on a low-priority list of things Treyarch is going to nerf.

Also, shitty hit registration? CoD has better hit registration than a lot of games; the only times it has bad hit registry is because of lag.

Battlefield has the worst hit detection I've seen.

Derp I think in our party last night we were the ragers lol. I feel your pain and feel exactly the same.

For me the hit registration is worse on this then any other game. And I pay out of my own pocket, for our 4.5mgbs connection. So it should not be happening as often as it does

Trust me, in CoD, shooting at a person with a 4 bar, and you have a 3 bar, always has, and never will, end well, lol. It's just unfortunate. If you're host/have a 4 bar, your hit detection will be fine. You want to know how I got such a good aim for CoD and BF? I used to snipe on WaW with a 2 bar in Ground War.

And yes Symbolic, BF has really bad hit-detection, to the point that it almost makes me foam at the mouth from how I angry I get.

I raged really hard this morning doing a 15% Hard run on Zero Mission.

I just found out that you can sequence-break the screw attack without the shine spark (yes, I've been living under a rock apparently) so that wasted 1% on the speed booster could have been used on ANYTHING ELSE LIKE AN ENERGY TANK OR AN EXTRA MISSILE TANK GOD DAMN THAT WOULD HAVE COME IN HANDY

Interesting....ive never had a problem. Ever consider that it seems thar way because of the arcadey laser bullets in this game? BF has the best most realistic bullet physics and gunplay hands down imo. No bullet travel to adds to the arcadey feel. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy cod, but it does make me rage.

Do you get that feeling I get, where you get that weird pain in the back of your neck from the eyestrain from doing the same thing on a game over and over again? That would drive me to insanity doing that, lol.

My personal favourite rage moment was playing FE, where one my units could've killed another in one hit, with an 80% chance of hitting, missed, then on their turn, they ONLY could've killed me with a critical hit, but they only had 30% chance of hitting, and a 1% chance of a critical, and they did it; I threw the Gamecube controller into the wall and shut off the Wii. I haven't touched FE since, lol.

This shit happens to me all the time, but it usually gets me killed, which really makes me rage.

And when I'm raging at a single player game it's usually just me shouting 'are you fucking kidding me' and my grip tightening. The TOW pisses me off more than anything. It's like they have an invisible, bullet proof shield around them.

I'm pretty sure the hitboxes are aligned horizontally on a TOW, like a single straight line or something. I've played rounds where some guy jumps up on it, aims to the right and half my team shoots at him to no avail.

That sniper video was pretty bad for sure. But in the huge hours ive put in it, that honestly has nevet happened to me like thay,.and I run a shit connection as stated lol.

Really? I've never played BF2.

I never thought it was that bad in BF2. I didn't even think BF games had hit detection issues until they added drop on snipers. That has to be the worst decision ever.


Then again I haven't played BF2 recently and now it's apparently full of Brazilians, maybe that has something to do with it + general latency.

BF 2 on xbox was what got me into shooters. So I hold a special place in my heart for the BF series.

Modern Combat is a different game from BF2.

Yeah Modern Combat made snipers one-shot anywhere and it pissed me off.


Still, I guess in retrospect it's slightly ground-breaking for bringing BF games to the console.

You know I am not saying its not there, but I hardly have ever had problems with hit registration in BC2. I mean I have had a few(when sniping for example)where my bullets were not killing, even though, like in that video, you could see blood. But almost every time it was the match, like it was lagging and rubberbanding. Never once have I had any problems like that when the game was normal.

But in CoD it happens all the fucking time. You see yourself get multiple hitmarkers, only in the killcam, your character sat there starting at the guy like his brain was just replaced with a damn goldfish' brain.
I have died from getting shot in the back, then on the killcam you see the guy shooting at me in the front, when I apparently ran right into him, yet on my screen he wasn't there at all.

Then the fucking spawns. My first game, FIRST GAME, when I first borrowed it from my friend. I joined a TDM, chose the 1st Assault class you get, I spawn into the game, and instantly I am killed by a Valkirye missile.
Hell this morning I spawned on Summit near outside the giant computer terminal building, only to get killed by a falling Care Package. I don't know how, but I did.

So far the only thing that would make me buy this damn game would be zombies. But I am not wasting 60 bucks on one game mode.

I am going back to BC2 where I atleast have fun.
Hell I am having more fun watching the Tyra Banks show then I have had in my 5 hours of Cod

It's your connection, honestly, I don't have nearly as many problems with this game as BC2. At least I don't shoot people, and watch blood fly everywhere, then get knifed, and it says "100% health remaining". If there is no hitmarker, there is no damage. Your connection is having issues with it then; you may need to open your NAT or make sure nothing else is on.

That's just bad luck. Don't base the game off one experience you had. I've never had anything like that happen to me, and I'm prestige 1, level 36.

My NAT is open, no one else is home hogging my bandwith, and we run a 4.5 MGBS connection. It should not be my connection screwing me up.

You may just be getting shitty hosts then; try changing your search option to "Locale"

4.5 Mbps does not equal 4.5 MBPS. You are getting about a 600 KB connection which is not recommended for online gaming.

Still I have a better connection than most of the rest of people on LIVE. and I have my router set up to where over %50 of our connection is sent directly to my 360's static ip address.

I wouldn't be 100% sure that you have a better connection than most people. Mines 6Mbps, and I still have a 3 bar more than 9/10 times.
