Training day with Denzel Washington! Absolutely loved the movie, but after only seeing it once i forgot some things.

Was he a crooked cop?

The drug dealer he was friends with and ended up shooting. Was that just a drug dealer he was trying to arrest?

The spanish guys the noob got left with. Was Denzel intentionally leaving him there to get off'd by them?

Yes

I think he was an associate that they decided to roll over on since Alonso had money problems.

Yep, since Jake wasn't down to shoot the drug dealer guy they had to off him since he hadn't boughten in to the team and was basically a witness to the shooting.

When I said I'd answer questions I meant questions more along the lines of your first post like explanation type questions.
