Samsung Zeal! My new cell.

Just picked this thing up sunday! so far i love it.

2 direction flip phone. With E-ink keyboard.

qwerty keyboard is soft/firm to the touch and the buttons press nicely. The interface is very easy to use and all reviews online so far are all good!

The e-ink keyboard is very cool. depending on which way you open the phone depends on which keyboard you see! the keyboard is a clear gel coat of buttons with a digital background!

Cost me $50 after mail in rebate. Worth it considering all my free phone options were garbage. I don't use the internet on my phone so that didn't bother me that it has no data package!

So far i give the phone a 4/5!

No touch screen at all! i love that. considering my last phone was the samsung glide and it was plagued with touch screen issues.

the digital keyboard always amazes me as it's newer tech! i've opened my phone and pushed buttons several times this morning, just to see it change!

Yeah I'm kinda on the fence about touch screen phones. I have an iPhone that I'm pretty indifferent about it. It's a cool phone, but I know there are better ones out there and navigating the net with the touch screen is not as elegant as I'd like it to be.

It could be because of the screen protector but I don't know.

Touch screens in general are way to finnicky for my liking! iphones ipads cell phones. Even computer touch screen monitors now!

The tech is nice but it's too "touchy" as in technical flaws! Plus if it breaks then theres alot of money involved in fixing it!

I'm happy with my new purchase as it has no touch screen and pocket dialing will be non existant.

Many props to you for keeping it old school my man. I like it!

Yep, it's like retro-tech.

The default ring-tones even have a touch of 80-90's! i think it was intentional!!! maybe? lmao

Nice man. On a side note about ring tones, I dispose people who have songs as their ring tones so they let it ring longer than normal so that song will play.

You really shouldn't dispose people, you can get 25 to life for that.


Anyways that keyboard looks pretty cool, looks like a nice phone. I hate touch screens myself.

LOL I saw the typo and left it. Made it sound better. Plus if they're disposed then I won't get anything due to lack of evidence.

I turn all sounds off. My phone is always on vibrate only! for calls texts everything. i even turn the keypad noises off.

Our cleaning lady here has a ring tone that's very annoying! she's also a luney so she laughs everytime it comes on. Something like a woman singing "diamonds are a girls best friend". UGH RAGE INDUCING!!

then our truck dispatch guy has the Geico commercial ring-tone. the one where it's the most annoying rington ever. "ring a ding ding dingy do, a ring a ding ding do, ringy dingy doh." that one! SHUT IT OFF.

Same I turn all sounds off. I may miss stuff sometimes, but that's ok.

I hate sitting in meetings here at work and everyone's phone is going off with email notifications and shit. Annoys the fuck out of me. Very unprofessional.

Yup about a year ago i had one embaressing moment. I had a customer sitting in front of me and we're talking about a potential sale! My phone volume had recently been turned up so i could listen to a picture message! all of a sudden i get a text and my text message notification was set to borat saying "you have a new text message HIGH FIVE!!"

Talk about OOPS! I didn't get the sale!

Shit happens! it wasn't a substantial sale anyway! still i'll never forget to mute my phone ever again. So it was a learning experience!
