Ain't that some shit.

All I use Live for is playing multiplayer shooters, and downloading DLC. I don't want any of their other crap. Last.fm? I've got a computer! Facebook? FUCK FACEBOOK. I don't want any of their two-bit web episodes or self-promoting newscasts or whatever. I don't care about it.

What a load of nonsense. If I hadn't already invested so much into my 360, I would just switch to PS3, seeing as they now have Mass Effect 2, and soon ME3.

The good thing about PSN is they made PSN+ so it's optional for the extra bullcrap. We're FORCED to pay for that extra bullcrap when we sometimes don't even want it. It's just another way Microsoft wants to force money out of us even for things we don't want.

I disconnected my cable in 91' and haven't had it since, but my wife wants TV. This is the perfect solution.

The pricehike doesn't concern me at all. It's less than $1 more per month... everything goes up in price eventually.

Yeah that's the way I see it also. Even with the increase it's still the cheapest of my expenses.

This honestly does NOT suprise me.

When the 360 came out all the games went up to $60 a pop, so it was only a matter of time. It still sucks and that's what business' do prices go up they never go down.

Unfortunately there's nothing anyone of us can do apart from pay or not play xbox live anymore.

Hmm... well, I'll keep my overpriced cable to go with my overpriced Xbox live. =) Honestly, my xbox live subscription isn't a huge drain on my budget. Even with an extra 10 bucks added. But I can see why others are upset.

I just scrolled through a few pages of their popular stuff and there are some interesting things there.
