I'm pretty sure it does not concern most of you, heck I would be delighted if even anyone is interested, but I still have to post this.

It's cool looking. I'm not interested in Gundam, though. Is that from me being only half Japanese?

So is there a new gundam?

The new series [Gundam Unicorn] is still in process of being shown, and if you don't know, it is the pinkish one right above the title.

Holy crap. How many of those have you seen and which one was your favorite?

I have seen and read almost everything except two comics.

My recommendation would be Turn A Gundam.

If you want something cool and something done recently, start with Gundam 00 series.

If you want to see how a war affects a 13 year old child and giving him hell, Victory Gundam. Literally almost everyone he loves perishes in war.

Original Gundam should be viewed, but the VERY old art style might put you off, but you can just watch three part theatre version. It is the start of Gundam series.

There is a New Translation Version (well, not English translation but reanalysis of theme) of Z Gundam, three part theatre version.

Gundam Seed and Destiny is okay, but it annoyed the heck out of me as a old school fan.

Anyway, those are my recommendation if you are willing to watch anything.

They still make Gundam series? Jeez... I remember watching Gundam Wing when I was younger. If you want good mecha anime you've gotta check out Full Metal Panic! There's a lot of familiar weaponry in it too which can be fun to point out. The light novels are also a blast, if you can find decent translations of them.

It peaked my inrerest untill I saw they are super deformed tiny robots with giant heads.

Awww..... You don't like SD characters?

Its kind of cute, and actually pretty cool.

Anyway, the game is kind of like Marvel Ultimate Alliance (if compared to Western games) where you bring in characters and machines from different stories and mesh them into one gameplay.

If anyone has played Super Robot Wars, then they would be pretty familiar.

Also, this one will have unique story, just like how SD Gundam G Generation Neo had.

Is it still the RPG style combat?

I preferred Gundam vs Gundam Next + on my PSP. No story, just fighting.

It is RPG, to be more specifically TRPG.

Not too sure if they can make a fighting game out of more than 500 different types of Mobile Suits and pilot selections. Not too sure of how many units will be present, but it would be much higher than the previous game, with additional series being included.

I watched gundam wing when I was a youngster. I loved the Tallgeese and the Deathscythe

I'm personally waiting to see the new Unicorn Gundam being included in the game.

lol, why does japan always make things look cute? Hell, they could probably make Manson or Hitler cute.

They lost me after Gundam Wing and I am very sad for that.

Did you watch all the UC (Original) series?

Gundam Wing and onwards (excluding Turn A) are directed by someone else hired by Sunrise/Bandai to sell products, its when they started what made Gundam 'Gundam.'

My problem is that I can't stand the old art work of the orginal Gundam and I can't stand the crappy CG, lacking art, soap opera of the new Gundams.
(I have watched all the old Gundams though and have all the models )
I don't intend to offend, BTW just my opinion.

Have you seen the Gundam Unicorn? Its OVA series, which basically just started.

Its originally a novel (which I am reading at the moment) and a single episode is released every 6 months. Its a story in UC0096 right after Char's Counterattack and its pretty good. The only bad part is the slow 6 months release. There are two episodes as of now and it probably would totally blow your mind. It also has something to do with the beginning of the UC (Universal Century) and the secrets behind it.

I'll have to check it out! Atleast the Gundams look normal, I mean to me.

If you know how Gundams evolved in UC series, Gundam Unicorn is the one that tried to incorporate Full Psycho-frame, which was only partially used in Nu Gundam in the cockpit and some joints. This later on gets developed into Multiple Construction Armour in UC0123, but by this time the makers of the Gundam changes once again from Anaheim Electronics to EFSF (in a new department called SNRI, its kind of like DARPA in US), but this is another story.

I like the detailed settings in Mobile Suits and their development, evolution, and purpose in UC Gundam series. Its kind of like how StarTrek has their fans liking the details in science part of it.

Oh yeah and that's why I liked it so much. I may drag out all my models now!

Are the funnels not heavy enough that it would drag down the Funnel storage / AMBAC module?
