The other topic was about video game music, so I felt like making one for real music. Not that video game music is bad, but I just don't listen to it on a regular basis. You can post albums, songs, artists, whatever.

For me, the best of 2010 would be:
Halcyon Digest by Deerhunter
Tidelands by The Moondoggies
Phosphene Dream by the Black Angels
Fences by Fences
and the song Julius by Starfucker

What would you guys say is the best of 2010?

Otherwise i cant really say a song that came out this year has really grabbed me

River of Blood off of Phosphene Dream is an awesome song. More heavy than other songs.

Any band formed after 2000 it not worth listening to IMO, with the exception of House of Fools and other talented bands mainstream hip hop has drowned out of any recognition.

That's not entirely true. You just need to know where to look. Not many popular bands are any good, that's why you don't go for the popular ones.

Cosmogramma by Flying Lotus was probably my favorite of the year, followed by Ctrl Alt Delete by Free the Robots. Nothing else really stands out for me.
