I have thought about getting this game many times but I just do not like the look of the gameplay when I watch it. I though Ewwww 20 bucks... watched some footage of it and though... meh nevermind.

mmmm I can see where my Eww could be seen as me thinking it is a gross ewww.

The stuff I read about this game makes it sound pretty vool and exciting. But the look just turns me off for some reason.

Well I think Homefront isn;t that bad. It's a hella lot better than BLOPS I think.

It's not just the graphics, but the colors seem off to my eyes. In addition I have to see anything in the gameplay that I have seen that makes me go WOW THAT WAS AWESOME!

That game is awesome especially with the new update. Also GM wanna help me with borderlands when I get the time to play?

Massive enemies, so MANY GUNS!!!11, awesome art style, amazing end game content with DLC, awesome powers, and it is just a blast to play with 4 people.

I think I would just be overwhelmed with the guns. I am fine with for instance what Homefront offers. I really don;t need 500, or even 20 diferent AR's to choose from. See the art style just throws me off for some reason.

Guess this one will just have to be one I always pass up on.

it is a little different with guns. Not every gun is effective. As you progress through the game you can find guns that are better than your starting ones. It is really more RPG like than anything since all the guns are randomly generated.

I got it at gamestop for 20,it's cool the dlc came on a 2nd disc

DL, the best way to describe Borderlands to you is... Diablo 2 mixed with FPS. You kill enemies, they drop randomized loot. There are only "so many guns" because the stats on the guns are randomized as well as the modifiers on them.

Basically, if you're into Diablo 2 loot gameplay you'll like this. There's also a lot of humor in it. I bought it like 6 months ago from GameStop (GoTY edition with all the DLC) and I have fun with it. Still working up the patience to do the Mad Moxxi DLC.
