I think I was in there for over an hour. >< Went in for the game sale since they had the buy 2 get one free sale going on, along with the extra discount and another sale going on too.

Ended up with about 5 games in hand. And then saw this ridiculously girly DS case that had a sheep like thing on top of the little er... pointer thing. So I said hey, I want a DS just so I get get this.

So I bought a DS (lite, in white, wheee), put back all buy one xbox game (got Gears of War 2) and picked up the Okami game for DS and Pokemon Diamond.

When sheep compulsive buys, she buys big! We'll see if I like it. Very awkward so far. I don't do well with hand helds.

Didn't buy the case though. lol

Pokemon diamond sucks compared to the other ones.

Yeah, Diamond and Pearl are the worst Gen 4 games, but they aren't bad.

I haven't played any Gears game in a long time. The Horde Mode was a fun mode to play. Never really got into the multiplayer as it seemed more about who could spam/mash a button faster.

Does the DS save your games to the game, or does it have a hard drive in it?

I'll definitely be taking this back tomorrow and getting the one from my boss' kid. It's practically new and who can't use an extra 60 bucks? Plus it's white like mine. Wheeeeeeee.

DS does not have any internel memory it is saved to the card. I would check to see if your bosses DS even works before you buy it. Good games to check out are Pokemon black/white, all the professor layton games, animal crossing, ninja gaiden, Mario kart, and all the other top games on metacritic.


Fair Waring the DS lite can only go online through wep protected routers. (Wep is very easy to hack)

Pretty sure DS saves it to the game chip. I have one but rare that i play it anymore.

It's gonna happen, think about it.

They remade games for the Kanto and Jhoto regions, there must be a remake of the Hoenn region. And after they release the 6th gen pokemon games, odds are they'll remake the Sinnoh region.

The DS lite does not have a browser. Going online would refer to using the online functionality of games like online multiplayer and other things.

I know it doesn't. I meant about chatting. I saw it has a chat feature. Not interested. I don't think I'd want to do online gaming on it either. Can't imagine competing on that tiny ass thing.

I do love my Okami game though. It's fun and cute.

The thing i hate about the DS is it makes my eyes get a burning sensation after some time. Besides that its ok.

I haven't had that problem - yet. But my arms and hands did fall asleep while I was playing it. Probably due in part to the position I was in since I was kicked back and hold the game up.

I really don't like how you can't get from the settings menu back to the main menu. It always makes you turn the damn thing off.

Then what the hell is whateverchat? Not that I care. Point is, the online business does not interest me.

They don't burn from anything else though and i did go to an optomologist earlier this year because i failed the DMV's eye exaimne (they have theese old machines that suck) anyways everythings fine but the doctor did tell me that he had multiple people with the same problem with the machines but their sight is fine.

Ds lite really does not have a menu system. Pictochat is for someone in the same room.

Nope only thing, maybe i had the birghtness too high or something i can't remember the last time i played my DS. I know i still have this Bleach RPG that i never finished everything up on. But thats the last game i remember playing.

I doubt there will be a Gen 4 remake. There isn't much of a difference between the DS and the 3DS, but there is a huge difference between the DS and Gameboy, so gen 1-3 remakes make sense.

Whoo hoo. So I traded with the boss' kid. Got his DS plus the same pokemon game I bought for $40. Was able to return my DS and the pokemon game for around $140.

His DS is a little more beat up, but it works. Sweeeetnesssss. I freaking win this week. Although now I feel that I can't buy DS games at that gamestop. lol TO THE MALL!
