Maybe you all are smarter than I am but for those on the same level:

I started reading the original Sherlock Holmes and my god it kicks the stereotyped Holmes' ASS!
For those captured by the gentlemen detective with his overweight sidekick its time to wake up.
Get yourself the originals and see how Holmes and Watson were supposed to be.... Awesome.

Meh you can get it free if you have a Kindle thing. The electronic book. bleh...handy but nothing replaces the new book smell. Even old book smell as long as it hasnt been....places

You can read it using the free software but I know what you mean. I just love holding a book in my hands when reading.

Books are way better than electronic stuff. I can't read books off my phone...I need to have a book in my hands. I love book smell. Haha!

The crap version of Sherlock Holmes make me so mad. I have no idea how they butchered such an awesome series.

Just downloaded the kindle app and got the book for it.

If I don't like it, you owe me cake.

I prefer regular books myself, but with moving and needing to have things packed up, I think the electronic version will work for things like this.

But I love Fat Watson!

Ok now I am interested. I'll see if I can find some at the Half Price Books. I gotta have the book in my hand. I get tired of looking at an electronic screen and reading. I swear it wears on my eyes faster or something.

I also agree that the great mouse detective was AWESOME!

You know, I know the movie was nothing like the original books, but I really liked it. I liked how it toyed with the idea of a magical resurection, but still had a logical explanation. And I liked their portrayal of Watson, not a fat bumbling sidekick but a significant aid in his cases and genuinly badass. Rachael McAdams was terrible though, I didn't beleive her for a second.

Ok so Google books has the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes in its free section and I downloaded it and read the first two stories yesterday. Easy read, and its not OM GOD IT AWESOME, but I will say its enjoyable. Definitly worth the read.

I think I've downloaded every free Sherlock Holmes available and have gone through at least 2 series so far. Its addicting!

I hated the new Sherlock Holmes movie. I thought it was crap and boring. They just dragged it out waay too long.

I would like to get a big book that has all the stories from beginning to end in it. That would be nice. Still have no idea how Watson and Holmes met.

There is a series on Netflix Instant view now, Its a BBC Masterpiece Mystery Series and its simply called Sherlock! Check it out as I watched while sick this weekend and its really good! They took the characters and premise and placed it in Modern Times and I have to say its a really worth watching! The end of the 3rd is an awesome cliffhanger and the second run doesn;t air till Autumn of 2011. I am fieding to see the next set of episodes.
