You should join the zombie group. They talk about it in The Feeding Grounds. And yes, many of us watched it and are eagerly anticipating season 2.

Crombie posted up an interview with a writer of the show. However i don't recall seeing a projected date of the new season. I would assume either later summer early fall?

I read some of the graphic novels way back when they came out...up until the group stumbles upon a prison....

I wanted to borrow the dvd from my friend of the season but never got around to it...I imagine it's easy enough to watch online anyway >:3

My family loves The Walking Dead. After the show ended we got the Volume 1 Compendium and shortly after we got the fifth book. Unfortunately we heard that apparently the next season won't start until late October around Halloween like they did for the first season.

The reason its taking so long is because most series shows arre 22+episodes split by a midseason break. We got 6 right after another.
There will be 12 this season, but still expect a long ass wait for season 3 if it rolls around.

Also season 2 was green lit after the first episode aired. Walking Dead was A&E's most highes nelson rated show in its history if I remeber reading correctly.

They'll air it around October just like last season, which makes sense because it leads into Halloween and everyone gets into horror type stuff around that time which = better ratings.

It's a shame they aren't following the books verbatem, because they truely make a great story. The great thing is that Kirkman, the author, never wants the stories to end, he's said in multiple interviews that he'll keep writing them as long as possible.

I Luuurve TWD, and I can't wait for the next season either.
The books aren't following the series verbatim because Kirkman wanted to explore other directions he had considered taking the plot in. Next season should be the prison, however. Can't wait.

But yeah, you can probably find a torrent of all of the issues. I did it a while back. I'm probably two years (24 issues) behind.
