Hip fire

I've been using the UMP and F2000 a lot lately and now I'm in the horrible habit of hip firing at just about everything. This leads to bad results when I try to spray down an enemy 30 feet away with an M16. Anyone else catch themselves trying to hip fire impossibly long distances?

I have exactly the opposite problem - almost always going for ADS, even at point blank range Neutral

I did this forever while using the uzi. To remedy this, I ran around with my side arm for a while. Only switch to your m16 or what have you during a long range situation. After a couple games, you should have it together.

mmmm Hip firing can be an art. I used to be an ADS freak but I have a better feel for hip firing and when to do it now. Playing SDM is what broke me of the ADS habit.
