i think i am just REALLY out of practice with photo-manips, this kind of crap should be child's play for me, but it's been a very long time since i've done one. i almost want to just delete the whole thing, but it's been a pain in my ass for a while now and i determined to beat it into submission.

i don't know, but that was a pain in the ASS to get rid of those frackin' shells on that bracelet. you'd figure it wouldn't be that big a deal, but it really was more difficult than i had anticipated.

not to mention i had to add all the swirls on her other arm because taking them off of the original proved too much of a pain in the lady balls for me to handle.

I would help you find the problem, but I'm not experienced/very good with art. I look at and admire it, and that's about as much I as I do, lol.

i am self-taught, i just do it for fun every now and again. its been almost 2 years since i've made one of these, so i am feeling a little rusty.

i am going to study light and shadows a bit, fiddle with it, see if i can't make it look a little better.

If you haven't already, check out http://www.conceptart.org/ Open an account and start a sketchbook. You can get tips from everyone from enthusiasts to pro's and they use everything from paint, pencil, tablet and photoshop. I wish the site wasn't blocked at my work otherwise I'd surf there all the time.

You may get some ideas there.
