What do you think about the game coming up on Saturday. I know it probably will be a blow out. But do you think it will be a good warm up greg mclroy see how the defense does after we took that big hit from the NFL draft.

I would be careful about expecting a blow-out.

I think Alabama is probably going to win, but I think it will be closer than you think. Bama lost a lot of defensive starters from last year, only returning 3, and there is always an adjust period to get used to the speed of the game. I think Bama by 7 in a shoot-out.

Yeah the defense issue has had me somewhat worried. But as usually with bama if the offense gets on a roll not many teams can stop them. But saturday we will see how the defense holds out.

At least your favorite team is good right now, lol. I just want my Irish to stop collapsing in November this year. That will be my barometer on Kelly this year, if we don't go 0-4 in Nov.

Just now noticed this topic, granted its after the game, but I had expected a comfortable win(a 2-3 score win), but not a blowout. 24-3 was a little better than I expected. Now this coming weekend against Duke I expect it to be a blowout...I do think Alabama will give up its first TD of the season though.
