it was a rough weekend.
then it looked like my son had swallowed a battery yesterday...so that was an all day ordeal.

it wouldn't have been so bad if we weren't there for 5 hours and 10 different doctors had came in to listen to his chest...that was freaking me out

Thats what Docts at hospitals do. THey make you wait forever and while y ou are there everyone and their mom will come in to look at you. I hate to be jaded but with two daughters and one that had a major crisis once I have done the hospital thing. Its sad because if you have insurance I feel like they milk you for whatever they can.


Glad that your sons ok though Epyk! I once spent a week at the hospital with my oldest when she was 4 and it was a rough week. I know how you feel.

And its just Admin online. Where are the minions to fetch our cigars and drinks at Epyk!?!?!?!

we got the xray out in an hour and they told us there was no battery...thn for the next four it was half hour check ups and them saying they will bet our paperwork to us soon...

Suprised they didn;t want to do an MRI, and countless other tests. Thats what frustrates me with docs anymore. They want to do so many tests just to see. Just to see what damn it!?

That's like when I had to take the Mrs to the hospital and knowing we dont have insurance they opted to do all the expensive tests first(I think they just wanted to play with the machines) just to tell us several hours later it was one thing and to see a doctor for a followup the next day(tho we were there so long it was already the next day) only for THAT doctor to look at the tests and say "WTF" and tell her something completely different while calling the hospital a bunch of idiots. Not to mention the hospital left out a bunch of stuff from the tests that could be serious but didnt bother telling us.

Moral of the Story. Be like me and suffer through all sickness so your immune system could stop a bus.

God when I have kids I hope they get my immune system and not hers >_<

my immune system could probably eat someone. i've had a week off total in the last few years .

modern families often blitz everything with cleaner which just weakens the kids immune system as it has nothing to fight...

then when they hit school they get mega ill because they have weak-ass white blood cells and catch everyone elses illnesses.

Yeah, that was terrible! In the end all I had was a horrible sinus infection that spread everywhere. And they found nodules on my lungs and failed to tell me, I have to go get another cat scan done soon to check up on that.

I hope our kiss don't have my immune system too, haha. I have a horrible immune system...I am so sick all the time

Got a few things up, getting a feel for it. I was able to link the blog to my wordpress app on my phone, so I'm able to be more mobile with it.

I haven't played with all the add-ons yet, I'm sure I will the more I play with it. I'm just slowly figuring out how everything works. It'll take a while, but once I get it all figured out, I'll be a blogging monster.

That's what I do. I hate medicine, and well I don't have any health insurance at all. It would seem like a good idea for my reckless lifestyle, but oh well, I'll pay the bill when it gets here.

When I got run over by drunko, I was told my shoulder was fine and was just sore! Wtf? Lets see here....

Basically someone might as well stuck a grenade in my shoulder joint! How could they miss that? My suergon was baffled.
